About Me Our daughter, Vijayalakshmi, did her Masters in Management with a concentration in International business and finance and is working in Delhi with one of the top Indian power cable manufacturing and EPC companies. Besides work, She volunteers with isha foundation, whenever possible. She is god loving. In my daughter's words: My family background: I come from a nuclear family background consisting of my parents and me. We settled in Mumbai over two decades ago, so basically, I grew up in Mumbai. I wish to be rooted to my cultural and religious values despite a forward thinking mentality and modern outlook. Education and profession: I have had the privilige to pursue my education from three different cities i.e. Mumbai, Hyderabad & Noida. This brought a lot of exposure my way, beginning with languages to debate competitions to winning national sports meet to drama and theatre etc. However, I took to my passion in most outdoor sports and captained for my college. Besides sports, I have received many laurels during my educational years. I still continue some athletic activity - current one being squash. Interest and desires: I desire to continue my career and update myself with the rapidly growing knowledge. Although, I like to trek, go places and explore; I have not really had enough opportunity to do so and wish to address this with a great companion. I am keen to explore different areas and learn new things. I understand that it is important to know the reasons behind traditional, cultural, and family approaches, so that I can give my 100%.
